Internal Audit Intern
Radford University's Office of Audit & Advisory Services is looking for an Internal Audit Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. This is a paid internship. If taken for academic credit, this internship is through the Davis College of Business and Economics Internship Program.
This Internship Will:
- Familiarize the intern with current internal audit concepts and principles.
- Expose the intern to the International Professional Practices Framework for internal auditing.
- Provide hands-on, project-based assignments that allow the intern to examine and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
- Allow the intern the opportunity to enhance research, writing, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Accounting major (must have completed one Principles of Accounting class by the end of Spring 2026 term)
- Be a Junior or Senior as of the start of Fall 2026
- Minimum 2.5 GPA, overall
- Good Communication Skills (Oral and Written)
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office — Word and Excel
- No prior course work in auditing is required
